Belgrade - Rafting Center Drina Tara

If arriving by bus from Belgrade, the bus station BAS has several daily bus routes to Foca. They include buses that go to Trebinje, Herceg Novi and Dubrovnik. If arriving by bus from Novi Sad, a daily bus service leaves from Novi Sad to Foca at 18h (6pm), just in case check the timetable.

If arriving by car from Belgrade, the first option is:
Belgrade, Sabac, Zvornik, Milici, Vlasenica, Han Pijesak, Sokolac, Rogatica, Gorazde, Foca, Drina-Tara Rafting Center.
You'll travel the highway Belgrade-Zagreb to the exclusion to Ruma, and then continue along the main road through Sabac. The border can be passed on the “Sepak” crossing or in Mali Zvornik, and then drive through these towns in the Republic of Srpska. Only 3km after Sokolac you will find a junction that leads right to Sarajevo and Jahorina, and left to Rogatica and Gorazde-there turn left. At about 20 km from Rogatica in Ustiprača you turn right towards Gorazde. After 30km from Gorazde you will arrive to Foca. Turn left over the bridge following the sign “Center” and immediately after the bridge turn right-up. From that turn drive straight following the road to Niksic for the next 18km. During the ride from Foca the Drina river should always be on your right. After about 18km You'll arrive at the sign on the right which says “Rafting Center Bastasi”. Immediately after the sign, turn right-down and follow the road signs to Drina-Tara Rafting Center. We are located about 800m from the turning. In our center we provide parking next to the bungalow where you will be accommodated.

If arriving by car from Belgrade, the other option is:
Belgrade, G. Milanovac, Cacak, Uzice, Mokra Gora, Visegrad, Gorazde, Foca, Drina-Tara Rafting Center
After Uzice on the road to Zlatibor, turn right towards Sarajevo, Visegrad and Mokra Gora. Border crossing in Mokra Gora, pass Visegrad and then after about 40 km from Visegrad, in Ustiprača turn left to Gorazde. After 30km of Gorazde you get to Foca. Turn left over the bridge following the sign ''Center''and immediately after the bridge turn right-up. From that turn drive straight following the road to Niksic for the next 18km. All the time driving from Foca, the Drina river should be on your right. After about 18km you'll arrive to the sign on the right which says''Rafting Center Bastasi''. Immediately after the sign turn right-down and follow the road signs to “Drina-Tara”rafting center. We are located at about 800m from the turning. In our center we provide parking next to the bungalow where you will be accommodated.

If arriving by car from Novi Sad follow the road:
Novi Sad, Iriški Venac, Sabac, Zvornik, Milici, Vlasenica, Han Pijesak, Sokolac, Rogatica, Gorazde, Foca, Drina- Tara Rafting Center.

Recommendations-what to visit along the way: you can visit the famous film director Emir Kusturica’s ethno village Mecavnik, you can visit Zlatibor mountain or Mokra Gora. Our recommendation is also a fantastic Dobrun monastery which is located only a few kilometers from the border- in the Republic of Srpska. You can also stop in Visegrad and visit the famous “Bridge on the Drina”.If you make a little turn to Bijeljina you can go to the ethno village Stanisic located a few kilometers from the border crossing Pavlovica Bridge.

 Sarajevo - Rafting Center Drina Tara

If you are arriving by bus from Sarajevo, most of daily bus lines to Foca depart from the station “East Sarajevo” which is about 2km from the airport in Sarajevo.

If you are coming from Sarajevo by car,
follow the road out of Sarajevo in the direction of Foca, near Sarajevo airport. Then you go through Kijevo, Trnovo, Dobro Polje and Miljevina. After about 12km of Miljevina you'll arrive at the crossroads near the village of Brod na Drini, at this juncture hold the right (over bridge) and follow the signs for Niksic and rafting center Bastasi. After about 1km from the junction, turn left at the gas station''Majnex'' over the second bridge and immediately after the bridge, keep right towards Niksic. After about 16km you'll get to the sign on the right side which says ''Rafting Center Bastasi''. Immediately after the sign turn right-down and follow the road signs to “Drina-Tara” rafting center. We are located about 800m from the turnoff. In our center we provide parking next to the bungalow where you will be accommodated.

 Podgorica - Rafting Center Drina Tara

If arriving by bus from Podgorica, there are several daily lines to Foca and Sarajevo. You can get direct bus to Foca. A better option is to exit the bus immediately in the second border checkpoint at Scepan Polje, where our vehiclecan wait for you, if requested.

If arriving by car from Podgorica follow this road:
Podgorica, Niksic, Pluzine, Scepan Polje, Drina-Tara Rafting Center.
After Niksic and Pluzine cross the border at Scepan Polje, and you enter the Republic of Srpska and continue driving only 7km. After about 7km you'll arrive at the sign on the right side which says ''Bastasi Rafting Center”. Just after the sign, turn left and follow down the path and signs for “Drina-Tara” rafting center. We are located about 800m from the turnoff. In our center we provide parking next to the bungalow where you will be accommodated.
Recommendations-what to see along the way: If you have time take a tour of the monastery of Ostrog. Saint Vasilije Ostroski founded the monastery of Ostrog and it is carved into the rock. The monastery is known as the largest Serbian holy sites and one of the most important sanctities and places of pilgrimage of Orthodoxy and Christianity in general. It is located near Niksic.

 Dubrovnik - Rafting Center Drina Tara

If arriving by bus from Dubrovnik, check if some of the direct lines runs to Foca. Trebinje is only 20 kilometers from Dubrovnik, and there are several daily lines to Foca.

If arriving by car from Dubrovnik the best route is:
Dubrovnik, Trebinje, Bileca, Gacko Tjentište, Brod na Drini, Drina - Tara Rafting Center.
From Dubrovnik go towards Trebinje and cross the border after only a few kilometers. Then drive through these towns and after 20km from Tjentište you arrive to Brod na Drini. Turn right (over the bridge) in front of “Majnex” gas stations and after the bridge keep right towards Niksic. After about 16km you'll arrive at the sign on the right which says''Rafting Center Bastasi''. Immediately after the sign turn right-down and follow the road signs to “Drina-Tara” rafting center. Recommendations-what to visit along the way: If you have time come and visit Trebinje, which is one of the most beautiful towns in the whole region. Trebinje is famous for the monastery of “Hercegovacka Gracanica” monastery which dominates over the town, and monastery Tvrdoš-widely famous for its vineyards, cellars and excellent wines. Trebinje is widely known for its famous vineyards and a few private wineries that produce great wines!
