At our Drina Tara Rafting Center there is a lot of construction, renovation and some traditional products preparation and now the beginning of the rafting season 2020 is approaching fast.
We will be entering the 2020 season with new accommodation, and, with great effort, we managed to have over 80% of the bungalows newly constructed. Although it is a campsite with a 20-year tradition, this year most of the facilities are up to 3-4 years old. This year we have further increased the number of Lux bungalows with bathrooms, we have built a brand new kitchen, and for standard bungalows we have built a brand new facility with bathrooms!
In addition to working on the construction of facilities in our center on the riverbank, we decided to further enhance our traditional cuisine, which we are already widely known for! There will be surprises and novelties on the menu, there will be even more traditional specialties tastings, there will be healthy natural, homemade organic juices, as well as our cocktails in the new summer bar on the river!
The beginning of the rafting season 2020
We start the season at the end of March and the first big party is expected on 30th April with the performance of Pedja Medenica. May Day parties continue with live music every Friday and Saturday. Working days are, of course, a time for a quieter atmosphere and to enjoy the spring days and nights on the shore of our "Zelenika"!
During the month of April we have prepared special benefits for all activities. From the first of April we organize rafting, jeep safari, hiking, ATV quads, zip line and other activities daily.
Spring rafting on the Tara river
Spring rafting on the Tara river is attractive because of the good water level and the less crowded rafting and other outdoor activities. In the spring, the snow melts, the water level rises, the color of the Tara is '' sierra '' and in one day you can enjoy rafting and swimming and in the next moment go with our 4x4 vehicles or ATVs to the mountains and wade through the snow.
Safety on rafting
We have to boast that we have also acquired over 300 brand new sets of high-quality equipment for rafting and water activities this year, so that the safety and comfort of our guests have leveled up.
MDrina Tara Rafting Center has been hosting rafting boat guides training courses on the Tara River for 20 years. Almost every year we teach new skipper guides, of which a team of the best is screened in our center. Our skippers, our guides are guys who have more than 100 days of rafting each season. Furthermore, all our guides are licensed by the IRF (World Rafting Federation) to do their job and among other things, safety and experience is what makes us the best!
