Like all our other activities in nature, we organize rafting every day until mid-October. The exact time when the October season will be closed depends on the weather conditions and how good the weather in October will actually be..
During August, the crowds on the roads and border crossings start to decrease and September slowly crawls in. It is the month that is considered by many to be the most beautiful to visit the Tara canyon and the Sutjeska and Durmitor national parks! According to long-term weather forecasts, we expect many more sunny days in September this year, but on the other hand, we also expect less heat and lower temperatures.
WE ARE OPEN EVERY DAY IN SEPTEMBER UNTIL MID-OCTOBER
We are often asked if the end of the season is good for rafting, hiking, quad riding and if it is cold on the river in case of rain. Well, honestly, September is great for rafting! If it rains, it may even increase the water level a little bit and make it more exciting. Rain will not bother us, because each of our guests receives top rafting equipment, suitable for all weather conditions. You can go rafting in complete equipment even in winter.
Everyone who has already tried it, knows that riding quads in our Rafting Center Drina-Tara is not just a ride, but socializing and enjoying the most beautiful areas of national parks! And the temperatures in September are so pleasant. That is why hiking on a beautiful September day is also a great experience that is difficult to describe with words. Nature is a healer, and a whole day of walking in nature and touring glacial lakes will definitely recharge your batteries.
