As usual, our season starts in late March, when our first guests arrive into our rafting camp-hungry for the real spring river adrenaline, socializing in nature, hiking, ATV quads.
In April snow on Durmitor and Ljubišnja slowly starts melting and fills the lakes, underground caves and the river Tara. Thus, the water level of the Tara slowly grows, wild waterfalls flourish from all sides in the canyon, nature wakes up, and everything becomes greener and more colorful. The landscapes change almost every day and take the bright colors of the spring.
Rafting on the Tara in April is unique, because the river slowly wakes up from winter dream and takes on the purest green shades, with countless small tributaries that are active only in these days of spring.
The night temperatures are still quite low, but our lux bungalows are heated and the day temperatures rise a lot, so sometimes in April we can have summery days … All this makes April one of the most beautiful months to visit the Tara and enjoy rafting, or to take the Jeeps and ATV quads into the mountain and spend a pleasant spring day in breathtaking neature.
