Tara - one of the most beautiful and most attractive rivers in Europe. On its 145 kilometer long flow form Komovi, Tara made almost 100 kilometer long and 1.3 kilometer deep canyon. It is situated in the picturesque mountain part of Montenegro, just under the highest mountain in Montenegro, called Durmitor. Tara canyon is the second deepest in the world, just after famous Colorado River in USA, but certainly, it is the most beautiful canyon in the world. It is in a very calm area, far away from any Balkans troubles and disturbances. Because of its pure drinkable water, opulent vegetation and wild life, with great number of endemic species, Tara Canyon is under protection of UNESCO.

Tara, "The Tear of Europe" on rafting scale takes place at 3-5, is among most attractive rivers on planet and it is true paradise for all adventurers. Rafting on Tara is very unique in Europe and in the world. It is truly delightful and active vacation which offers you to enjoy in magnificence of rapids, clearings, water-mills, old churches and monastery’s and bridges. There are breathtaking natural phenomenons that you will see in Tara Canyon.

During rafting with well equipped rafting boats and licensed and experienced skippers you can rest, go swimming and fishing or just enjoy in tasteful food of our region.

Besides rafting on Drina and Tara, we offer you facultative excursions in National Park "Sutjeska" which have so many scenic sites. Among others, glacier lakes: Orlovacko jezero, Bijelo i Crno Jezero, Gornje i Donje Bare, mountain Maglic (highest mountain in Bosnia ad Herzegovina 2848 m), Volujak and Zelengora. There is also jungle Perucica, unique natural reservation in Europe with its magnificent waterfall Skakavac (over 80 meters high) .Drina, Tara, Sutjeska and other small rivers have plenty of fish-nasturtium and Californian trout etc. Fish is, in addition to local specialties of this region (grilled lamb, ham and cream homemade pies and etc.) on our menu during Tara rafting. All our arrangements are all inclusive during whole vacation; accommodation is in the beautiful surroundings of rafting center "Drina-Tara." Our rafting center and camp is in the place called Bastasi, in Tara Canyon, on the shore 18 kilometer far form Foca and on the main route to Niksic and Podgorica. Bungalows are very comfortable and tidy, built in mountain style as well as the entire complex.
